Skybus adds second service from Stewart
© SkybusDiscount carrier Skybus launched its second service from New York’s Stewart International Airport yesterday (Monday, February 25).
The flights to Piedmont Triad International Airport will complement the recently introduced Skybus service from Stewart to Columbus, Ohio.
Flights to Triad will leave the Hudson Valley at 5:45am and 8:22pm, while return services from North Carolina will depart at 9:49am and 7:57pm. All times are local.
Robert Tenenbaum, spokesperson for Skybus told the Mid Hudson News that the new route is expected to be as successful as the Ohio service.
He explained: “One of the things we found in the Greensboro area is the service they’ve had prior to Skybus opening up there has been very expensive; there are flights from Greensboro to the major airports in New York, but those flights are very expensive.”
