Virgin America hosts SF Pride float
San Francisco-based airline Virgin America joined in the city’s annual Pride Festival this weekend.
The carrier revealed its own “Boogie Flights” float for the parade on Sunday, with more than 100 Virgin America staff joining in the celebration.
As well as taking part in the parade, Virgin America presented an Exhibit Booth in the Civic Center where visitors had the chance to win Virgin products.
Porter Gale, Vice-President of Marketing at the airline, said: “As San Francisco’s only hometown airline, we’re honored to be a part of a celebration that has defined and enriched this community for 38 years.
“Virgin America is bringing the best of San Francisco to the skies, from the most advanced on-board entertainment and technology to cutting-edge design and innovative, fun and friendly teammates.”
