Northwest Suspends Hartford – Amsterdam Flights

90% of Northwest Airlines’ Flights Punctual in October

Nearly nine out of ten Northwest Airlines flights were on time in October, according to new data released by Flightstats (Web site: www.flightstats.com).

The flight-tracking company revealed that 89.7 percent of Northwest Airlines were on time, compared to 85 per cent of all airlines in the U.S.

Northwest to add $80 to fares for select flights

Northwest Airlines is planning to add an $80 round-trip fuel surcharge starting January 10, 2009.

Michelle Aguayo-Shannon, a spokeswoman for Northwest, said the hike will affect tickets on about 7,000 flights or 30 percent of total domestic flights.

Northwest Airlines has revealed its latest route, which will connect its Memphis hub with the city of Columbia, Missouri.
