No misprint, South African Airways is selling seats as low as $244 each-way between the United States and both Johannesburg (JNB) and Dakar (DKR).

Fly on off-peak days. In this instance, that means Tuesdays and Wednesdays from November 4 through December 3. Neither taxes nor fees are included in this discount airfare. Perhaps the most important point to remember is this: the $244 each-way rate is predicated on a round-trip purchase.

South African’s deals are good for passage from either New York Kennedy (JFK) to Washington, DC Dulles (IAD), and they’re on sale only through October 17.
