The New Casablanca on the Ocean is a historical landmark for Florida, originating in the 1950s. Having been renovated since then, the ocean-front hotel on Miami Beach now boasts all of the modern amenities that picky travelers come to expect from luxury resorts.

Hailing from Miami’s Art Deco days, the hotel keeps the vibe alive and brings a contemporary swing on its notable décor.

Rates for January and February for oceanfront suites range from $79-$99 a night, and include access to its heated outdoor pool, and free daily breakfast for two.

Each room has an ocean view, a kitchen, an LCF flat-panel television, wireless internet access, and premium toiletries.

We tested the price for three nights and flights from Boston, and the price came to $259. Rates are valid through Feb. 22, 2011 and blackout dates include Dec. 24-Jan. 15.
