Check out the Fourth of July hotel sale

Orbitz is offering 10 percent off select hotels for July 4 weekend. On a whim, we checked to see what kind of rates New York City is offering this weekend and the prices were staggering.

Luxury hotels including The W, The Hilton, The Waldorf-Astoria, The Mayfair and the Helmsley Park Lane are all sporting sales on July 4 weekend rates. Stay at the W New York- The Court for $179/night (usually around
$250/night) or the W New York – Tuscany for $189/night (usually around
$289/night).

Check-in at the world famous Waldorf-Astoria for $279/night or drop your bags in Leonna’s old pad for $225/night at the Helmsley Park Lane. Both hotels are a minimum of $100 cheaper than usual rates, and considering this is a Saturday-night stay, the deal is even sweeter.

We didn’t forget about the West Coast contingent. We checked out rates in San Francisco for July 4, and they options are equally as excellent!

Hotel Adagio, a Joie de Vivre Hotel, is going for $148.85/night, while the Hilton San Francisco is capping out at $169.00. Hotel Vertigo is offering rooms for $111.30/night and the Hotel Palomar – a Kimpton Hotel is starting at $208.75/night.

Pack your bags celebrate your independence! These hotel rates won’t last long so take advantage while you’ve got some time off and something to celebrate.
