United Express puts new Denver flights to Texas on sale
United is casting a wider net from its Denver hub, using United Express regional jets to bring a trio of new airports into the fold. While the move means new connectivity for flyers in Dallas, Amarillo, and Lubbock, it also—initially anyway—means introductory discount airfares.

From the mountains, to the prairies... Denver flights to Texas
The routes launch April 3.
Introductory round-trip fares are good for travel on off-peak days: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. You’ll need to make a 21-day advance purchase, and neither taxes nor fees are included.
- Denver flights to Amarillo (usually $334) are $78.
- Denver flights to Lubbock (usually $482) are $98.
- Denver flights to Dallas Love Field (usually $974) are $360.
The Love Field flights also entail either a three-night, Friday-night, or Saturday-night stay. Those stayover provisions in Dallas discourage some business travelers, but are nicely fitted for those taking a quick vacation, or visiting friends and relatives.
