Book a cheap hotel in Washington D.C.

Finding an affordable hotel in Washington, D.C. doesn’t require an act of Congress. It’s really as simple as  checking out the Web site of the Official Tourism Site of Washington, D.C.

Right now, the tourism board is promoting 30 percent off 3-night hotel stays in our nation’s capital.

Dozens of hotels are included in the deal, such as Renaissance Mayflower Hotel, Hotel Palomar and Marriott Washington Metro Center. Nightly room rates start at $69 and to get 30 percent off you must book a Thursday or Sunday night stay.

When booking, look for the Staying Power Weekend Package promotion to receive 30 percent off. Occupancy and black-out dates vary by hotel, but several Washington DC hotels are offering this package through the end of 2009.
